Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Pham Quang Nghi visits Tien Giang

On September 16, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi leaded a delegation to visit the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Relic in Long Hung temper (Chau Thanh District) and visit Go Dang Joint Stock Company in My Tho Industrial zone.

Mr. Tran The Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee welcomed the delegation.

Nghi and members of the delegation offered incense at Martyrs’ Monument of Long Hung villiage, visited Nguyen Thi Thap Temple and her Commemorative Zone. He wrote down the commemorative book in temple: "The life of revolutionary activities and contributions of comrade Nguyen Thi Thap is always encouragement, inspiration and example for all generations to the party's glorious career learning and following." At Go Dang Joint Stock Company, the delegation heard the Board of Director introducing the production, trading and visiting the process of basa fish exporting.

At the same day, the delegation worked with the Provincial Standing Committee of Tien Giang to strengthen friendly relations, experience exchanges and cooperation for development between two localities.

Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi offered the provicial Poverty Alleviation Fund 5 billion VND.

On the meeting, two local leaders were unanimous in practical terms co-ordinating trade promotion activities to encourage and create favorable conditions for enterprises to exploit two sides and consumer products which is the strength of the two locals, especially in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries, promote co-operation in the field of culture and tourism.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party, government and people of Hanoi, Nghi offered the provicial Poverty Alleviation Fund 5 billion VND.
