Ambassador of New Zealand to Viet Nam Haike Manning pays a courtesy to provincial leaders

On October 2, Tien Giang People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Khang and leaders of the provincial departments welcomed Ambassador of New Zealand to Viet Nam Haike Manning paying a courtesy to province’s leaders.

On the meeting, the Chairman outlined the geographical location, socio-economic situation and the potential of the province, and looking for New Zealand investors to have many investment projects in Tien Giang.

 “New Zealand and Vietnam have good diplomatic relations nearly 40 years nice. The government of two nations have also signed a global cooperation agreement. Vietnam is one of twenty countries of New Zealand's best customers”, Ambassador Manning said delightedly.

Products of Vietnam dragon fruit has been presented in New Zealand supermarkets. Dairy products, and wine,etc...of New Zealand were in Vietnam. New Zealand has been in collaboration with the Institute for Southern Fruit Research to carry out the project of the new breed of dragonfruit for investing planting in Vietnam, including particular Tien Giang province.

At the same day, the Ambassador visited some garden planting dragon fruit in Quon Long Commune (Cho Gao district).
