Evaluating preliminary result of leading to perform the assignment of the third quater

The Standing Provincial Committee of the Party has just hold the 24th meeting of Provincial Party Committee (IX) to evaluate preliminary result of leading to perform the political assignment of the third quarter and deploy orientation and task of the fourth quarter.

Attending the meeting were the Central Office of the Party; Personel Department of the Central Committee; Central Supervisory Committee; Central Propaganda Department; Secretary of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee Tran The Ngoc; Commissioners of Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, agencies, associations and provincial leaders of districts and cities.

In recent years, the Provincial Party Committee focused the leadership and guidance implementing synchronous measures to promote economic development; created positive changes in the areas of life, culture, social security, defense maintained - security and social order and safety guaranteed.

There were results of the implementation of main targets in nine past months: Gross domestic product in the province increased by 9.3% on average (resolution from 9.5 to 10%), in which the agriculture - forestry - fishery increased by 4.4%; industrial sector - by 15.2% and building services sector increased by 9.6%. The export turnover was estimated at USD1081.9 million, reaching 92.47% year resolutions; revenue from local economy gained VND3.340 billion, reaching 90.2% year resolutions; total social investment capital gained VND15,200 billion, accounting for 70.7% year resolutions,etc...

At the meeting, delegates focused on leadership discuss the results of implementation of the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee in the past nine months. On the basis of a detailed analysis that low targets; to devise positive solutions to implement in the remaining months of 2014. Especially, the assessment of production and consumption of rice, fruit; farming, fishing, processing and exporting seafood; preventing and controling of disease in plants and animals, especially the progress of construction of new rural areas in recent years; the advantages and disadvantages of industrial production; progress of projects, important projects of the province; the training of human resources, quality education today; the implementation of social policy, poverty reduction,etc…

Concluding the meeting, Ngoc emphasized the central task of the last months of 2014 which all levels should focus on leading and implementing: planning and restructuring the agriculture sector towards improving the added value and sustainable development; connect effectively agricultural production with procurement, processing and marketing of products; timely transfer of scientific, technical production. To complete the construction and implementation of plans to field a large sample of rice production in the province; implementing the criteria of new rural construction of eleven communes, etc….
