Binh Nghi commune is proclaimed the new ruaral commune

On December 30, Binh Nghi commune has just been proclaimed the new ruaral commune by the Go Cong Dong district People’s Committee and The Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new ruaral areas.

Mr Nguyen Van Khang, Chairman of the Tien Giang People’s Committee, Chief Provincial Steering Committee attended.

Binh Nghi commune is the first commune of Go Cong Dong district to meet 19 standards required for a new rural commune. After 4 years of implementing the National National Targeted Program to build new ruaral areas, Binh Nghi has got many obvious achievements.

In implementing of helping to develop economic, the poverty rate of household is reduced by 58 percent in comparison with 2011. The commune’s average per capita income increased by 178 percent in comparison with the end of 2014. The total resources mobilized for the program was VND 157 billion, including VND 40 billion from the capital of the budget state and VND 117 billion mobilized from social capital.
