The association and its chapters at all levels should thoroughly grasp the thoughts of members and people, while actively fighting against corruption, waste and social problems, he said.
The President expressed his hope that the association will direct the active, persistent and effective implementation of the resolution of the Party Central Committee’s 4th plenum, as well as participate in building a stronger Party closely connected to the people, promoting the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
The VWVA now has over 2.8 million members and 16,600 chapters in 63 cities and provinces across the country.
With its outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation, the VWVA was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order.
