My Tho city awards "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title to 100 women

On January 7, the provincial People's Committee hold solemnly ceremony to award and posthumuosly bestow "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title to 100 mothers of My Tho city. Two alive mothers are Bui Thi Anh (was born 1933 in Đao Thanh commune) and Nguyen Thi Nghinh (was born 1936 in My Phong commune, My Tho city).

Tien Giang People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Khang, Tien Giang People's Committee Deputy Chairman Tran Thanh Duc, and leaders of city attended.

Provincial and city leaders expressed deep gratitude to the heroic mothers for their great contribution and sacrifice towards the cause of national liberation and reconstruction, and wished them good health and a long life, and asked the local authorities to take care of the mothers and help improve their lives, etc...
