Tam Binh commune is proclaimed the new ruaral commune

On January 6, Tam Binh commune has just been proclaimed the new ruaral commune by the Cai Lay district People’s Committee and The Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new ruaral areas.

Mr Nguyen Van Khang, Chairman of the Tien Giang People’s Committee, Chief Provincial Steering Committee attended.

 

Tam Binh commune is the fourth commmune of Tien Giang province as well as the first commune of Cai Lay district ato meet 19 standards required for a new rural commune.

After 4 years of implementing the National National Targeted Program to build new ruaral areas, Tam Binh has got many obvious achievements.

In implementing of helping to develop economic, the poverty rate of household is reduced by 5 percent in comparison with 2010. The commune’s average per capital income increased by 3 times in comparison with 2011. The percentage of workers employed regularly gets 95,7%.
