Meeting to hold the celebrations of April 30, May 1 and May 19, 2015

The provincial People’s Committee has just organized the meeting to hold the celebration of the 40th anniversary Southern Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2015); the 129th anniversary International Workers' Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2015) and President Ho Chi Minh’s 125th birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2015).

Mr Tran Thanh Duc, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Head of the provincial Organizing Committee of the major holidays chaired the meeting.

At the meeting

To organize activities and celebration of the 40th anniversary Southern Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2015); the 129th anniversary International Workers' Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2015) and President Ho Chi Minh’s 125th birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2015) has very important significance of our nation in the fight against foreign invaders to gain national independence and reunification.

The celebration of the 40th anniversary Southern Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2015) aims at contribution to the education of internal communication and people about glorious revolutionary tradition, enhancing  national pride, confidence in the leadership of the Party and the State; responsibility of citizens to continue to maintain the independence of the nation, to dedicate more to the cause of industrialization and modernization.

At the meeting, Duc requested that the relevant departments performed their tasks assigned to organize activities and celebration of the 40th anniversary Southern Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2015), the 129th anniversary International Workers' Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2015) and President Ho Chi Minh’s 125th birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2015) to ensure practical, efficient with considerate, solemn, economical and safe spirit.
