At the meeting, the CSCA discussed the plan supervise several localities, ministries and sectors in 2015 and the results of investigation and prosecution of some corruption cases under the monitor of the CSCA. The committee also discussed the results of the review of credit activities of four State commercial banks in 2014.
Speaking at the meeting, Party chief Trong, head of the CSCA, said that the supervision of the CSCA over anti-corruption work has helped raise the responsibility of all agencies at all levels, enhanced the effectiveness of the fight against corruption and received the support of the people.
To further these positive results, the CSCA decided to send its inspection delegations to several provinces, cities, ministries and sectors to supervise and monitor the prevention of corruption in 2015, from May 31 to July 31. The decision is expected to encourage localities to increase the fight against corruption and determine best practices to use in other localities.
Regarding the credit activities of four State commercial banks, the CSCA will discuss the matter further at the upcoming seventh meeting of the CSCA in late April this year.
The Party leader also asked relevant agencies to accelerate the handling of serious cases of corruption, particularly cases under the monitor of the CSCA.
