Earlier, under the chairmanship of NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, deputies discussed amendments on the draft law on State budget.
To ensure more practicial decisions on the State budget, it was suggested that the NA make decisions on the State budget in two sessions at the beginning and the end of the year.
Deputies Tran Du Lich from Ho Chi Minh City and Le Dac Tam from Binh Thuan province suggested supplementing a principle to the draft law that the State budget will not pay if the expense is not planned and decided earlier by authorised agencies.
Regarding State budget management, deputies Le Nam from Thanh Hoa province and Bui Duc Thu from Lai Chau province said that the draft law should include responsibilities of agencies in devising the annual State budget plan.
Concluding the session, NA Chairman Hung asked the draft committee collect the ideas to make adjustments and improvements on the draft law as assigned tasks.
He expressed his hope that the deputies would continue promoting their roles and make further contributions to improving law construction and state management for better services to people.
