The provincial leaders inspects the water situation in Tan Phu Dong district
On April 2, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang and the delegation inspected the running water situation in Tan Phu Dong district.

The delegation has inspected the six hectares storage water pond in Tan Thoi commune; the water supply stations in Tan Thoi, Phu Thanh communes; the progress of construction for upgrading the pipeline conveying raw water from the six hectares storage water pond to water supply stations in the locality; working with many relevant departments, the Rural water supply one member co., LTD and leaders of Tan Phu Dong district about a solution to water supply in the district until the end of the dry season.
According to the Rural water supply one member co., Ltd, until the present time, the water level in the six hectares storage pond is very low at place to be no longer able to supply water; the water reserve in this six hectares storage water pond in Tan Thoi is about 90,000 m3 being the only additional source water for the water supply at place to provide for people’s use. Although the company carried out water supply according to line and hour, the ruuning water did not flow to the downstream areas in Tan Thanh, Phu Dong and Phu Tan communes, causing shortages water in local.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Van Khang directed to accelerate the construction for upgrading the pipeline to convey raw water from the six hectares storage water pond to many water supply stations in the east; the Rural water supply one member co., Ltd takes advantages to process many storage ponds at place to receive water from the six hectares storage water pond in Tan Thoi when the upgraded pipeline to convey raw water connected. For those areas are dehydrated, the water supply units and many relevant departments and authorities to promote carring fresh water supply to peoples at once.
* At the same day, Chairman Nguyen Van Khang has just inspected the progress of the Long Binh secondary school’s construction (Go Cong Tay district). The building has a total construction area of 2 hectares, 1 ground and 2 floors, including 40 classrooms and the work function, with 41 billion VND cost. The construction was expected to be completed in May 2, 2016.
