The socioeconomic in the first quarter of 2015 gets positive results

On the morning of April 15, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held the 26th conference to summarize the implementation of the first quarter’s political tasks and to deploy the second quarter’s tasks of 2015.

Mr Tran The Ngoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy the Provincial Party Committee; Mr Le Hong Quang, Deputy the Provincial Party Committee; Mr Nguyen Văn Khang, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the conference.

According to the report of the provincial People’s Committee, despite of facing many difficulties, the socioecomic in the first quarter of 2015 has achieved many positive results under focusing on steering of the provincial Party Committee as well as the efforts of many branches and levels.

GDP in the first quarter reached 15,573 billion VND, grew 8.3%, compared with 7.9% in the same period last year. The agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors rose 4.1%, industry - construction rose 16.1%, the service sector rose  8.4%. The total revenue was 2.580 billion VND in the first quarter, including 1,459 billion VND from the local economy’s revenue, reached 32.6% of the plan, grow 15.2%, compared with the first quarter last year.

Addressing the conference, Mr Tran The Ngoc required the branches and levels to implement successfully the proposed solutions in earlier this year across all sectors, with focusing on the main issues to strengthen the capacity leaders of the political system; strengthening the coordination between sectors and levels; completing early of the planned development areas and sectors; focusing on developing agriculture, disease prevention, needing to apply advanced science - technology in the production of plants and animals; the new rural construction should have a reasonable route,etc…

To speed up construction, review the key projects promptly remove difficulties ensuring revenue. Besides, continued attention and support enterprises to overcome difficulties. At the same time, focused on reforming administrative procedures, especially procedures related to attracting investment; continued monitoring of the situation of social evils; actively grasp the situation of industrial zones to ensure security stability in the province; the ultimate settlement of complaints and denunciations, especially those complaints and denunciations related to the level of the party congress, etc...
