The exhibition is being held as part of activities in celebration of the 100th birthday of the late Party General Secretary (July 1, 1915).

The exhibition highlights the leader’s great contributions to the resistance wars for national salvation, the Doi Moi (renewal) process of the country, and the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition also aims to honour the late Party leader who is credited with launching the Doi Moi reforms in 1986 that lifted Vietnam out of the post-war economic crisis to become a middle-income country.

The same day, a ceremony to mark the 100th birthday of late Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh was held in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.
