Solemnly celebrated the 40th Traditional Day of Tien Giang Border Guard

On the morning of 16 June, Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province solemnly organized the anniversary 40th of Tien Giang Border Guard’s Tradional Day (June 16, 1975 – June 16, 2015).

Attending the ceremony was Lt.Gen Truong Tan Tai of the Vietnam Border Guard Command; Secretary of the Provincial Committee Party Tran The Ngoc; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang; the former revolutionary comrades; representatives of departments, agencies, unions, district, city, town, etc…

Addressing the ceremony, Mr Khang delivered a speech to review the traditional of Tien Giang Border Guard’s Tradional Day, the stage of construction, combat mission and growth under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of Border Guard Command and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the coordination closely of departments and agencies, unions, governments at all levels, especially the loving and caring of people.

Through 40 years of foundation and develpoment, Tien Giang Border Guard has continued to grow with the stable political spirit, to prove the main role in responsible for protecting the sovereignty and social order and safety zones the province's border.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee presented  22 certificate of Merit to individuals in Tien Giang Border Guard by outstanding achievements in recent years.
