Solemnly celebrated the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On June 19, Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province solemnly organized the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st).

Addressing the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Ngoc delivered a speech to review the traditional of Vietnamese revolutionary press in general and Tien Giang press in particular. recalled the history of the Vietnam revolutionary press, founded and fostered by the late President Ho Chi Minh with the launch of the Thanh nien [Youth] newspaper in 1925. From the period of national liberation struggle to protect and build the country as well as in the innovation today, Vietnam revolutionary press constantly has grown and contributed greatly to the struggle national liberation and reunification, building and protecting the country.

Proving into play Vietnam revolutionary press’s traditions, last time, the staff, editors, reporters and press agencies, members of the Association of Journalists have actively propagated and contributed on bringing guidelines and resolutions of the Party, the policies and laws of the state to life, reflecting promptly, vividly many news events, politic, economy, culture - social, defense - security of the province and patriotic emulation movement of all levels, etc…

The press has really become a sharply propaganda tool in the ideological, cultural front sharp and being the voice of the Party, Government and People of Tien Giang.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has offered the baldachin to the Provincial Journalist Association. The Council of the Tien Giang Press Award- Nguyen Van Nguyen and Bong lua vang Press Award delivered prized to the collectives and individuals.
