Party Central Committee Office holds third patriotic emulation congress
The Central Communist Party Committee Office organised its third patriotic emulation congress for the 2015-2020 period in the presence of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi on August 7.

Reports at the event showed that thoroughly grasping policies and directive documents from the Party and State on emulation and commendation, over the last five years the office has positively implemented the movement, attracting the participation of cadres and Party members, contributing significantly to fulfilling the office’s political tasks of ensuring and improving operation quality of the Party leading body.
On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Le Hong Anh praised achievements by the office over the years, stressing that the office plays a special important role in advising and assisting the Party on its daily works.
To fulfill the mission and further improve the quality and efficiency of patriotic emulation movements, Politburo member Anh recommended the office and its heads to direct and be responsible for the quality and efficiency of emulation and commendation within the agency, continuing to thoroughly grasp the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh on patriotic emulation.
The organisation of emulation movements must be connected to the performance of the office and contribute to improving the effectiveness of advising and assisting the Politburo and the Secretariat to implement the set tasks for 2015 and the five year plan 2011-2015, as well as holding the Party Congress at all levels and the 12th National Party Congress.
The Politburo member also added that emulation movements should be closely linked to the 'Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example' campaign, thereby, constantly raising awareness of revolutionary ideas and political and moral qualities of Party members and workers under the office.
On the occasion, Politburo member Anh awarded the Labour Order, first class to the Party Central Committee Office.
The congress also honoured 36 collectives and 38 individuals under the office who have made outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement during the 2010-2015 period. The body also launched a patriotic emulation movement for the 2015-2020 period at the event.
