Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son works with Tien Giang province

On September 28, the delegation of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) led by Minister Nguyen Bac Son, worked with Tien Giang province.

At the meeting, leaders of Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications reported to the delegation about activity of the sector in nine first months of 2015 including managing media, telecommunications, information technology, inspection checking, etc ...

Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc gave additional information about results of implementing the policy of MIC integrated information management data to Department of Information and Communications of the local. Since then, this helped Tien Giang province to aim at building network infrastructure as well as building safety overall solution of electronic government information interconnected high efficiency four levels.

 

Minister Nguyen Bac Son acknowledged and praised the results that Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications province got in recent years. Minister also requested the Department to continue to act as a counsellor for the Provincial Peolple’s Committee’s administration on the State in the field of media and telecommunications, coordinate with all levels and departments in the province to strengthen the monitoring and management of the delivery of services and information online, minimize junk status sim, text message spams.

 

On this occasion, MIC and VNPT Group awarded Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications one computer lab with twelve modern computers to serve operation and management of the sector.

 

The delegation also had a working session with the school Managing Board of Posts and Telecommunications and Information Technology III (in Tan My Chanh commune, My Tho city) about implementating the process of handing over the management to Tien Giang province. 

 

After that, the delegation had a meeting with Tien Giang People's Committee on transfering Posts and Telecommunications and Information Technology III school to Tien Giang province from October 1, 2015.
