Co Co victory monument revealed in Cai Be

The People’s Committee of Cai Be district unveiled a monument to Co Co victory in An Thai Dong commune on October 16.
 
The inauguration was held on the occasion of the 10th congress of Tien Giang Party Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure.
 
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang, Vice Standing Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Kim Mai, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc, leaders of provincial deparmnets and agencies, etc… attended this event.

Co Co victory monument is built in the village of Thai Hoa, An Thai Dong commune, Cai Be district. The total capital investment in building monumnet is VND9.2 billion. This monument has a pedestal with 148 square meter, the bzone alloy statue has height of 3 meters with three figures showing the close combined operation between the regular army with the local army and guerrilla army to make Co Co victory. 
 
The construction of Co Co victory monument has great significance in history, politic and society, where records glorious feat of armed forces and An Thai Dong commune’s people. Thereby, it expresses today generations’s gratitude to heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for national independence and reunification of the country. This is also a cultural destination for traditional education revolution, patriotism for cadres, Party members and people.
