Opening the 43rd session on December 9, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said legislators will scrutinise a draft resolution on the establishment, missions, power and organisation of offices of NA deputies’ delegations.
A draft resolution promulgating working regulations of the NA Standing Committee and another on the organisations, missions and authority of the NA’s Secretariat and Office will also come under discussion.
Other items on the agenda are assessment of the legislature’s recently concluded 10th sitting and preparations for the 11th sitting.
Following the opening ceremony, the Standing Committee appraised the draft resolution relating to the offices of NA deputies’ delegations.
NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu said each locality will have one delegation of NA deputies and one delegation office which will be headed by one manager and one deputy manager.
The delegation offices of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An province and Thanh Hoa province will have two deputy managers each since the localities have large numbers of NA deputies, he noted.
