Tien Giang Association of Fellow Countrymen meets in Can Tho city

On February 27, Tien Giang Association of FellowCountrymen at Can Tho city held a meeting with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc and representattives of departments, agencies, etc… as well as more than 300 Tien Giang people living in Can Tho city, attended this meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy of Tien Giang Association of FellowCountrymen reported the result of mutual affection activities of Tien Giang fellow countrymen at Can Tho city and activity toward homeland in 2015, including many activities promoting study and finance, social welfare.

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc briftly reported the situation of economic development - economic development of the province in 2015 and thanked Tien Giang fellow countrymen at Can Tho city sincerely about their mental and physical contribution in past years. He also wished Tien Giang fellow countrymen new year with joys, success in life.

On this occasion, Tien Giang Association of Fellow Countrymen at Can Tho city awarded 25 scholarships to 25 Tien Giang students who met difficulties, studying at Can Tho University and Can Tho University of Medicine.
