VFF supervises the preparation for NA and People's Council election in Tien Giang

On March 25, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) led by Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Committee of VFF Truong Thi Ngoc Anh has just supervised the preparation for National Assembly (NA) and People’s Council election in Tien Giang.

At the working session

After working with the My Tho city Fatherland Front Committee, the delegation had a working session with the Tien Giang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

As reported by Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the preparation for NA and People’s Council election in Tien Giang is carried out in right oder, procedure and progress by law.

Until now, the standing boards of provincial fatherland front committees the second consultation conference to set up preliminary list of candidates of NA deputy and People's Council delegate in right oder, procedure and progress by law.

The result of the second resultation has been approved the list of 12 candidates of NA deputy resided in local with a rate of female as 41.66 percent and rate of youth as 25 percent, the list of 114 candidates of the Provincial People's Council delegate with rate of female as 49.45 percent and rate of youth as 21.92 percent.

The Fatherland Front Committee of districts, cities and towns also have consultated the second time approving the list of 716 candidate of the district and commune People’s Council delegate, wards and towns also consultated approving the list of 8,375 candidates of the same level People's Council delagates.

The consultation result showed that candidates has met standards about the qualify, politic, morality, etc... The structure of member of People’s Council ensured gathering the voice of people of many world such as intelligentsia, religion, farmer, entrepreneurs, women, youth, etc…

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Committee of VFF Truong Thi Ngoc Anh concluded that the preparation for NA and People’s Council election in Tien Giang at all levels are very good.

She noted the Tien Giang provincial Fatherland Front need to continue to perform some works in the coming period, including strengthening electoral propaganda, interesting in tracking possible guiding the steps of process’s the third consultation, receiving and timely solving complaints and denunciations of voter by law, etc ...
