Hoang Sa, Truong Sa exhibition opens on Tien Giang province

An exhibition entitled "Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam - Legal and Historical Evidence" opened on April 22, at My Tho city, Tien Giang province.

On display are numerous documents and around 100 maps, affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over these islands and reflect the country’s administrative management, as well as its exercise and protection of sovereignty over the archipelagoes.

Besides, there are colletions of maps, pictures, and stamps reflecting soico-economic and cultural achivements on Truong Sa and Hoang Sa Island over the last 100 years. They proves Vietnamese states from feudal period up to now have explored, established, and protected national sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands as well as other Vietnam's island and sea territories.

The exhibition runs from April 22 to April 26.
