Mr Nguyen Van Danh re-elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Council

On June 22, the 9th People's Council term 2016-2021 of Tien Giang province has just convened its first session, at the provincial convention center. At this session, delegates elected key positions of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee term 2016-2021.

At the session, the provincial People's Council deputies elected key positions of the provincial People's Council and the provincial People's Committee by secret ballot.

As the result, Mr Nguyen Van Danh, member Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 8th Provincial People’s Council cum Head of the delegation of Tien Giang National Assembly deputies, was re-elected as Head of the 9th Provincial People’s Council, term 2016-2021. Two  Vice Head of the 9th Provincial People’s Council, term 2016-2021 were Ms Nguyen Thi Sang and Mr Pham Van Bay.

Delegates of the new Provincial People’s Council elected new key titles of Chairman, Vice Chairman and member of the Provincial People's Committee tenure 2016 -2021. As result, Mr Le Van Huong re-elected the Provincial People’s Committee. Mr Le Van Nghia, Mr Tran Thanh Duc and Pham Anh Tuan re-elected Deputy the Provincial People’s Committee.

The session also elected 19 members of the Provincial People’s Committee and 30 jurors of the Provincial People’s Court.
