Chairman of the PPC works with Cai Be district and Tan Phuoc district

On July 8, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), led by Chairman of the PPC Le Văn Huong and representatives of provincial departments, agencies, worked with Cai Be district and Tan Phuoc district. The working session concentrated on development of enterprises in these district.

According to report of Cai Be district, Cai Be has more than 900 enterprises specializing in the field of milling, oil trading, construction, transportation, hotel, trade, services and other manufacturing. Last time, enterprises has contributed significantly to district’s development socioeconomic, creating jobs and stable incomes for approximately 9 thousand employees, contributing to poverty reduction at the local. Annually, these enterprises contributed approximately 17.7 percent to the average income of the district budget.

To overcome these difficulties as well as create conditions for enterprises to participate in the Enterprises Association, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong requested that all levels and branches focusing on solving problems for enterprises, reducing procedures and time implementation of administrative procedures, creating clear legal framework for enterprises. The district should actively propose and advise the province on the mechanisms, policies and solutions to continue to remove difficulties for businesses, contributing to the development of the province in accordance with the set objectives.

According to Tan Phuoc district, until now, there is 32 enterprises signed a land lease agreement at Long Giang Industrial Park with a total investment of nearly 2 billion USD, attracting more than 6,000 employees. At Phuoc Lap commune, Minh Hung Co., Ltd. has a total investment of about 1.750 billion VND with over 2,400 employees.

In addition, the district also has 406 industry-handicraft bases and 2,407 commercial services establishments licensed, contributing to the socio-economic development.

Chairman of the PPC acknowledged problems and difficulties as well as agreed with district’s orientations and recommendations. He asked Tan Phuoc district leaders actively to collaborate with related departments and agencies to expeditiously complete the procedure to deloy in the near future.
