Tien Giang receives the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister

The Southwest emulation cluster has just held the preliminary conference in the first six months of 2016. Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party, member of the Party Central Committee Le Hong Quang attended this event.

On behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party, member of the Party Central Committee Le Hong Quang awards the Emulation Flag to Tien Giang province and Hau Giang province.

Accordingly, in the past 6 months, the Provincial People’s Committee of many provinces recognized 3,356 outstanding collective labor, 680 Emulation soldiers, 710 Emulation Flag and 24,238 Certificate of Merit. Submitting records of recognizing 1 Labor hero for the Prime Minister’s approval, submitting records of recognizing 4 Emulation soldiers, 148 Independence medals, 153 Labour medals, etc… for the President’s approval, awarding and betowing postumously 1,999 titles of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, etc…

As for Tien Giang province, there were 10 economic competition targets issued and launching 6 special subjects about emulation associated with socioeconomic development, defense and security.

About growth, the average GDP in the first six months of 2016 of provinces reached 5.2 percent, an decrease of 2 percent in comparision with the same period of 2015. Many provinces has the highest GDP such as Long An province (7.6 percent), Tien Giang province (7.14 percent), Tra Vinh province (6.26 percent), Dong Thap province (6.02 percent), Hau Giang province (5.87 percent), etc…

The cluster’s total export of goods reached nearly 5569.5 million USD, increase 27 percent, total revenue reached 32,038 billion VND, an increase 21.3 percent in comparision with the same period of 2015 ...
On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded the Emulation Flag to Hau Giang province and Tien Giang province as well as Certificate of Merit to Long An province and Bac Lieu province.
