Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board marks 40th anniversary
The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board held a ceremony in Hanoi on August 12 to mark its 40th anniversary (August 14, 1976-2016) and receive the Independence Order, second class.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the event and presented the Order to the board for their outstanding achievements.
At the ceremony, PM Phuc emphasised that over the past 40 years, under the leadership of the Party and State, generations of officials, soldiers and workers of the management board have successfully fulfilled their assigned political tasks, including protecting the remains of President Ho Chi Minh and welcoming millions of compatriots, soldiers and international visitors to pay tribute to Uncle Ho.
On the occasion, on behalf of the Party, Sate and people of Vietnam, he extended sincere thanks to valuable support from the governments, scientists and people of the former Soviet Union, now Russia, for the preservation of President Ho Chi Minh’s remains.
The PM asked the board to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party’s political and military guidelines, as well as promote the political and cultural significance of the mausoleum.
He emphasised that the unit should strengthen management of recruitment and training of officials, soldiers and workers.
PM Phuc urged the Ministries of Defence and Public Security, as well as relevant agencies and localities, to closely coordinate together to effectively implement assigned tasks.
It is essential for the board to raise their self-reliance and promote their internal strength and creativity, as well as enhance the relations with Russian health scientists to acquire knowledge and experience in the long-term, and protecting President Ho Chi Minh’s remains, said the PM.
He added that the management board should continue to pay much attention to effectively operating technical equipment for the mausoleum and relevant projects, as well as regularly improving the quality of welcoming visitors to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
The government leader asked the mausoleum’s management board to further promote the patriotic emulation movement and Party building.
