Vice President: Party, State always remember national contributors' dedication
The Party, State and people always keep in mind the sacrifices and great contribution made by heroes, martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers and revolutionary contributors to the nation.

The statement was made by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh while meeting with the delegation of national contributors from the southern province of Vinh Long in Hanoi on August 19.
She emphasised that Vinh Long is home to numerous outstanding people who have greatly contributed to the country such as late Prime Ministers Pham Hung and Vo Van Kiet and Professor Tran Dai Nghia.
The State has paid much attention to care for and improve the material and spiritual lives of revolutionary contributors, added the Vice President.
She appreciated the achievements that Vinh Long province has made in implementing policies related to care for more than 50,000 local national contributors, including 265 alive heroic Vietnamese mothers.
Vice President Thinh asked the local authorities to continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, better caring for and supporting contributors in the coming time.
She expressed her hope that with their reputation and experience, revolutionary contributors would continue to act as advisors for the local Party committees and governments in fulfilling political tasks.
The Vice President also asked the delegates to actively encourage and educate patriotism and the revolutionary tradition among younger generations, significantly contributing to making the country more prosperous and beautiful as desired by President Ho Chi Minh.
