Strengthening the propaganda for public services online

On September 23, Tien Giang Department of Information and Communication held the conference on propagandising to deploy public services online.

Delegates were heard a report on the result of deploying the project applied information technology to solve administrative procedures according to a model of “one door” mechanism in phase I, the plan of promoting public services online 2016 and the route providing  online public services by authorities in the province of 2016- 2017 period.

In fact, in the past time, many departments and localities were interested in implementation of public services online, creating favorable conditions for organizations and citizens. Some provincial departments setors and localities implemented public services online at degree 3 and 4 for some groups of services by Decision No. 1605/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister dated August 27th, 2010 on approving the national program on application of information technology to operations of state agencies during 2011-2015.

 

This launched the modern trading methods, transparency between state agencies and other organizations and individuals to serve the effectiveness of the province's administrative reform. 

 

However, the exploitation and use were not equal. Many services have been invested but they have not yet exploited as well as used effectively. The proportion of online transaction records was low because people were not used to new transactions through the network environment.

 

In the next time, the Department of Information and Communications will coordinate departments, local authorities and the media to promote the propaganda so that people know and understand utilities when making online public services, continuing to improve the policy system, ensuring stable and long-term process, unifying technical standards to ensure the synchronisation between services to servw the interconnect.
