During first six months, the work of international integration in the province was carried out well across all areas such as politic, economic, culture, society, science, technology, education and training creation, health care, labor, employment, security and defense. The economic growth of the next month was higher than the previous quarter. Industrial production, the total social investment capital, export, trade, tourism continued to grow rather high.

The fields of culture, society continued to grow stably. The work of propagandizing and communication on international integration was carried out well with many suitable activities to local reality. The work of deployment of international agreements at the local level had positive effect, especially the cooperation between Tien Giang province and Maputo province of Mozambique, Cambodia's Pursat province and Laos' Kham Muon province being more steadfast. The defense, security, politic and social order and safety continued to be stable, the sovereignity of territorial waters was defended stably.

On the last six months, the Steering Committee of the Provincial International Integration Board continues to strengthen propaganda to raise awareness of party members, public servants and people about international integration. Promoting many integration activities such as economic integration, political and international cooperation of local, national defense integration, security, etc... in the spirit of resolution on international integration and defense, security affair to 2020 and the following years.
