Celebrating 86th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Farmers' Association

On October 14, Tien Giang Farmers Association has just hold the meeting to celebrate 86h year anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930-October 14, 2016) and honour typical farmers in building the new rural period 2011-2016.

At the meeting, participants reviewed the traditional dedication and maturity of the Vietnam Farmers Association through the period of revolutionary struggle as well as buiding and defending the nation.

Promoting this glorious and proudly tradition, many levels of association, officials and members of farmer in the province stopped incessantly learning, practising and heightening the core role in the movement of production and business, family economic development, participating in building a new rural, maintaining national defence and security.

Every year, there is over 20 percent of members classified as core member, 70 percent of members classified as good or excellent member as well as bbout 70,000 farmers awarded top sales production at all levels.

In the future, many levels of association will continue implementing effectively the Conclusion No 61/KL-TW of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat on the project of “Enhancing the role and responsibility of the Vietnam Farmers' Association for industry development and building the new rural as well as building Vietnam farmers class period 2010-2020”. To continuing innovating content and mode of operation, to promote the role of the core at the forefront of the local patriotic emulation movement.

On this occasion, 4 teams and 48 individuals honoured as typical in the movement of building new rural period 2011-2016.
