The conference informed about Party building and management of socio-economic development

On September 28, the Standing Provincial Party Committee held the conference informed about Party building and management of socio-economic development and public issues are concerned.

 

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the the Provincial Council Nguyen Van Danh; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong, etc… attended the conference.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong reported the summary of some focus contents on Party building, building the political system and leading socio-economic development from the beginning tenure so far. Accordingly, the work of Party building as well as political system building have always been concerned by all executive committee of the Party Committees, bringing into play solidarity and democracy to determine to successfully implement the Resolution set out.

On the socio-economic field, although there are many difficulties, especially in disaster of drought and saltwater intrusion, the province’s socio-economic has many positive changes thanks to strong determination in the leadership and administration of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s People with the effort of the industries.

 

The province’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth (compared with price of 2010) of nine months of 2016 reamins fairly level with 7.8 percent, at the the top of the 13 provinces in Mekong Delta (region's average of 6.5 percent). The most evidents of the leadership and administration are shown in dealing well with prevention and resisting drought and salinity, stimulating entrepreneurship of enterprises, maintaining political security, social order and safety, deploying some works solved the urgent issues of people, suggesting solutions to develope in the coming future.

 

Participants discussed and contributed many ideas such as: the work of Party building, the personnel work, ensuring environment in industrial zones, parks, dealing social issues concerned (progress of implementation projects as well as the focus building of province, construction and urban development My Tho city, complaints, traffic safety, social order and safety, etc...).

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong noted many comments as well as clarified issues posed by delegates and outlined the necessary solutions to focus on implementation in the near future.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh emphasized that the measures need to focus on implementing from now until the end of 2016 such as: continuing deployment and implementation of the resolutions and directions of the Central Committee, the province. These focus are the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, the Resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee, implementing effectively Directive No. 5 of the Politburo on promoting the learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and style. 

 

The lead enhances further the leadership capacity, combativeness of grassroots Party organizations and cadres, party members to meet the need of development requirement in industrialization and modernization period. 

 

On the soci-economic field: Focusing on accelerating the granting, renewal of certificates of land use rights, dealing illegal sand mining, handling violations in the field of culture. Implementing effectivelly the project of restructuring agricultural sector associated with building a new rural commune. Focusing on solving difficulties and problems for enterprises to promote the development of production, sales and export; constructing the scheme of restructuring industry.

 

Continuing to improve the investment climate, reforming administrative procedures associated with building model "electronic office". Implementing synchronously many preventive measures to combat and prevent of crime, pulling off traffic accidents, etc…
