To focus on solving problem and completing the task of 2016

This was direction of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong at the meeting with members of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) about socioeconomic situaation of October, 2016.

In ten first years of 2016, the socioeconomic situation of the province achieved positive results in comparision with the same period. In particular, industries and sectors growed rather good such as: the industrial production index increased by 14, 7 percent in comparision with the same period, the export turnover reached more than USD 1.68 billion getting 80.2 percent of the plan and increased by 18.6 percent in comparision with the same period, the number of newly established enterprises increased by 19 percent and the registered capital increased by 1.9 times in comparision with the same period, the total investment attracted 10,872 billion VND increased by 2.1 times in comparision with the same period, etc...

Some of targets were implemented to be expected to finish as well as exceed over  plan of 206 such as: GRDP growth rate increased by 8.5 percent, the total social investment got 26,929 billion VND reached 101.2 percent of the plan, the income from the local economy got 6,335 billion VND reached 108.2 percent of the plan, etc… 

 

At the meeting, the office of the PPC reported the result of content preparasion for the Provincial Council meeting in late 2016. Accordingly, 16 resolutions had to submitt for Provincial Council before the meeting to take place. Besides, the meeting also approved the draft report and resolution on collecting protection money, developing land for rice cultivation, making draft statement and to make names of roads in My Tho city.

 

To continue to achieve the goal as well as the plan of 2016, Chaiman of the PPC Le Van Huong requested PPC’s members strengthen the leadership, coordinating to remove difficulties and shortcomings, accelerating to complete the task of 2016. 

 

In particular, focus on completing statements and resolutions for the Provincial Council’s submission on schedule. Strengthen inspection and urging the implementation of fields such as traffic safety, granting certificates of land use rights, food safety, accelerating the construction and completion of the new countryside criteria in communes of the plan 2016, etc…

 

Chairman Le Van Huong also said that, on every Saturday morning of last week of month, the chairman will coordinate with the Provincial Business Association to meet enterprises in order to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, to promote and support enterprises to develop.
