The 9th Congress of Tien Giang provincial Women's Union concludes

On November 11, the 9th Congress of Tien Giang provincial Women’s Union ternure 2016-2021 concluded.

There were attendance of Deputy President of Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, etc… and 353 delegates represented more than 500,000 officers and members of Women's Union in the province.

At the closing session, the congress heard memoir units about models and work of intersectoral coordination, adopting Resolution of the Congress, voting on targets of the Congress, launching the Executive Committee of the 9th Tien Giang provincial Women’s Union for the 2016-2021 tenure. Ms Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong reelected Chairwoman of Tien Giang provincial Women’s Union, Ms Dang Thi Ngoc Diep, Doan Thi Thanh Khoi, Nguyen Thi Kieu Tien hold office as Vice Chairwoman of Tien Giang provincial Women’s Union.

 

After two days work with seriousness, urgency and responsibility, the Congress’s resolution  of the 9th provincial Women’s Union for the 2016-2021 tenure adopted 10 basic targets. There are a number of tasks and focus indicator such as: Every year has 85 percent of officials, members registered 3 targets standard of emulation movement, 70-75 percent of officials, members registered 3 targets standard of emulation movement at the end of tenure, each grassroot uinion to help extra 3-5 household per year to meet creteria of “five no, three clean” family, etc…

 

In the new ternue, the Executive Committee of the new ternue Provincial Women's Union promised to always preserve unity and promote further sense of responsibility, directing women's movement to successfully complet the Resolution of the 9th Provincial Women’s Union.

 

On this occasion, 25 teams and 94 individuals received the certificate of the Central Vietnam Women's Union, the certificate of merit of  the Provincial People’s Committee as well as Tien Giang provincial Women’s Uinon by outstanding achievements contributing to the women's movement and work of Union, term 2011-2016.
