The Central Propaganda Department works with Tien Giang

On morning of November 16, the delegation of the Central Propaganda Department, led by Deparment head of Social Affairs, the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Quoc Trung, has just supervised the implementation of Directive 24-CT TW of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on development of Vietnam Oriental Medicine and the Vietnam Oriental Traditional Medicine Association in the new situation and the Announcement conclusion No.154-TB/TW dated on February 20, 2014 by the Secretariat of 5 years implementing Direction No.24-CT/TW, Direction No.20-CT /TW dated on May 11, 2012 by the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership for the care, education and protection of children in the new situation in Tien Giang province.

Implementing the Directive No.24, Announcement conclusion No. 154 and  Direction No. 20, Tien Giang province built plan to develop oriental traditional medicine as well as to protect, caring and children education. Accordingly, the Association of Oriental Medicine at all levels were consolidated and developed. Until now, 10 districts, cities and towns in province have the Association of Oriental Medicine,  2 union branches directly under the provincial association, 169 Associations of Oriental Medicine at communes, wards and towns. 

The province has currently had 2,058 members of the Association of Oriental Medicine, increasing by more than 98 members at in 2013, etc... The system examination and treatment by oriental medicine was interested. Medical examination and treatment deparments of the Oriental Medicine hospital were newly constructed, expected to be use in 2016. During the year, hospitals and clinics of oriental medicine at all levels were equiped machine servicing for treatment of people, etc ... 

 

The child protection, care and education had important changes in both quality and quantity, gradually creating the best conditions to meet the full needs and rights of children, preventing and repelling the risk of child abuse, building environment safe and healthy for children to have the opportunity to develop a comprehensively, etc...

 

Concluded the meeting, Deparment head of Social Affairs highly appreciated the achievements of province in developing Oriental Medicine and the Association of Oriental Medicine, in the work of the child protection, care and education. At the same time, he suggested that the province continued to direct in oder to overcome difficulties and limitations to effectively implement of these above contents on the next time.
