The Provincial Party Committee summarizes the task of year 2016

On December 26, the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee held the conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee Board (the 6th) to summarize, assess result of leadership on implementing political tasks in year 2016 and deploying orientation and task of year 2017.

 

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong, cochaired the conference.

 

Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, representatives of excutive committees of districts, towns, cities, and equivalents as well as leaders of provincial departments attended the conference.

According to report at the conference, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Executive Committee Board, the province’s socio-economic development in year 2016 achieved important indicators, such as gross domestic product in the province increased 8.5 percent on average. In particular, the agriculture, forestry and fishing sector increased 3.6 percent, industrial and construction sector increased 16.9 percent and the service sector increased 7.9 percent. Per capita income reached 39.1 million VND.

Export turnover was estimated at over USD2.1 billion, revenues from the local economy estimated at 6.590 billion VND, reaching 112.6 percent of the budget. The province’s poverty rate decreased 5.17 percent. The proportion of population participated in health insurance reached 68.2 percent. There were 5 communes proclaimed the new rural commune. 

At the conference, delegates delivered many memoirs revolved issues which needed to be focused on implementing in year 2017 such as: the project of restructuring the agricultural sector, the project of cutting crop change, the solutions to respond to natural disasters and climate change, the assessment situation and proposal for solutions in industrial production, handicrafts, etc…

 

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong emphasized the solutions of social-economic development in year 2017. These were restructuring the agricultural sector, building effective, discipline administrations, ensuring social security, strengthening national defense and security, improving the efficiency of foreign affairs and international integration, enhancing information in the direction of openness and transparency.

 

Concluding the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh noted some key tasks for all levels, departments and local to implement. He also suggested that the party committees, governments, organizations and people to work together to enhance the role of responsibility as well as to express high determination to successfully implement the Resolution’s targets of the Provincial Party Committee set in year 2017 and the following years.
