Training children of fisherman needs to be concerned

On November 28, the survey delegation of the Southwest Steering Committee, led by Major General Nguyen Doan Ket,  has just worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee about implementing Decree No 30/2010/ND-CP and Decree No 130/2015/ND-CP and Decree the 67/2014/ ND-CP and Decision No 48/2010/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh said that, in past time, the province was very interested in the training task, human resource management as well as boats, means of civil and  aquaculture development policy. However, through the survey fact, the implementation of above policies has had limitations. In the next time, province will accelerate the implementation of propagandizing above policies, strengthening boats and human registration management.

The survey delegation recommended province to support fishermen as building, improving and upgrading maritime transport as well as investing equipments to manage fishing activities and limit status of offshore fishing violations.

Province should focus on training, improving knowledge for children of fishermen and as well as vessel owners, captains and chief engineers, etc ... on offshore-fishing.

The delegation agreed with the province’s petition with Goverment to continue implementing policies supporting means of catching fish, reducing insurance buying procedures and facilities for catching fish.
In addition, the delegation also would petition for planing clearly fishing, farming regions and protecting the ecological environment for the inspection and control of exploiting marine resources activities efficiently and sustainability.

Earlier, the delegation worked with Go Cong Dong district. After listening ideas of fishermen about difficulties in fishing activities, the survey delegation noted recommendations of fisherman, at the same time they should organize as well as link together in offshore fishing. Fisherman needed to educate and encourage children to proceed profession of family according to way of methodical training and mordern equipment for fishing tools.
