The press conference to announce the socioeconomic situation in 2016

On January 23, the Provincial People’s Committee has just held the conference press to announce the socioeconomic situation in 2016 and the task of 2017. Chief of the Provincial People’s Committee Secretariat Pham Van Trong chaired the press conference.

In year 2016, the PPC has possibly implemented the direction and operation socioeconomic so the socioeconomic situation of  year 2016 achieved positive results. The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in year 2016 reached over 52.400 billion VND, increasing 8.5 percent, higher than year 2015. Some sectors continued to grow fairly good as: the value of industrial production increased 19.3 percent, export reached over USD 2.1 billion, trade and attracting tourists continued to rise, the revenue reached over 135 percent estimate of year, 560 new enterprises established, attracting foreign investment as well as capital social development increased more than in year 2015, the social and cultural sector continuously developed stability, defense security maintained.

In order to develop socio-economic in year 2017, the PPC defined 9 groups of solutions for socioeconomic development such as: Improving the business investment climate, promoting growth, strengthening regional linkings, the joint project; Implementing effectively the scheme of agricultural restructuring and the scheme industrial restructuring, increasing competitiveness, promoting economic development. Implementing effectively financial policies, budget, expanding and improving the efficiency of revenue increase, etc…

At the press conference, the departments and agencies of province have informed about some contents regarded by press inside and outside province, such as  measures to ensure traffic safety in Highway No 1, Highway N. 60, Rach Mieu bridge during Tet, the result handling of violations in the operations of cultural services, cultural activities to make a noise, etc...

Concluding the press conference, Chief of the Provincial People’s Committee Secretariat Pham Van Trong expected that the press agencies will become the channel of propagada information to help people to grasp the directions, policies and laws of the State. Since then, people enhance further the sense of law observance in life as well as production and business, etc... to limit risks, bringing benefit. The press agencies need to support province furthermore in the propagation of performing the tasks of politic, economic society in the future, contributing to the implementation of objectives set out by province.
