Summarizing the patriotic emulation movement in 2016

On February 24, Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee organized a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement in 2016 and launched the patriotic emulation movement in 2017. Deputy Secretary of Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Council for Emulation and Reward Le Van Huong chaired this conference.

In recent years, the movement of emulation and commendation have been implemented according to plan, the text system of emulation and commendation has been essentially completed, the propaganda, praising, replication of advanced models have been exerting extensively in the community with special focus on rewarding extraordinary achievement, rewarding those who directly produced and worked. Through the patriotic emulation movement, the socioeconomic development of the province continued to develop, etc...

On this occasion, Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee presented 48 excellent Emulation Flags, handing over 5 Labour medals (the second class), 4 Independence medals (the third class), 16 Certificate’s Merits of the Prime Minister to teams and individuals attained outstanding achievements in the work of 2016, contributing to social charity work, with outstanding achievements in the work of the election of the fourthteen National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels of 2016-2021 term, etc ...

Addressing the conference, Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Council for Emulation and Reward Le Van Huong Le Van Huong appreciated the outstanding results of the patriotic emulation movement in the past year.

He requested the heads of departments and agencies, provincial unions, businesses and chairman of districts, city, towns to focuse on implementing Direction 34-CT/TW dated 7th July 2014 by the 11th  Politburo on continuing to innovate the award and emulation and Circular 11-TT/TU dated 25th April 2014 of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee on accelerating the patriotic movement, organizing the emulation movement with practical goal, specific tasks associated with the implementation of political local.

To enhance the comprehensive leadership capacity of committees for the emulation and commendation movement activity, in particular the responsibility of the head of the unit and local, to strengthen and improve the role of the Board of Emulation and Reward at all levels in voting of titles to emulate the patriotic emulation movement truly motivated to become a lever for socioeconomic development of the province, etc...
