The book includes writings by Party and State leaders, scientists and researchers featuring the revolutionary life and career of the late Party chief.
The content of the book focuses on analysing the creative thinking in terms of both theory and practice of Comrade Le Duan in the process of leading the revolution in the South and national reunification, as well as the cause of national construction and defence; his great contribution in nearly 60 years of revolutionary operations and 26 years of continued service in his position as the Party’s First Secretary and General Secretary.
General Secretary Le Duan displayed resolute political leadership and exerted a great influence over Vietnam’s revolution. He is a shining example of unwavering loyalty to the Party and the revolution, to the motherland and the people, and to the communist ideology.
His leadership helped the Party to successfully guide the people to carry out revolutionary missions in both the North and the South of the country, and it contributed to the country’s victory in the resistance war against the US imperialists in 1975.
