Holding solemnly 70th anniversary of Giong Dua victory

On April 25, at the Giong Duc historical monument, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held the anniversary of 70 years of Giong Dua victory (April 25, 1947- April 25, 2017).

Member of the Party Central Committee, Political Commissar of Military zone 9, Major General Huynh Chien Thang; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Danh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong, etc… attended this event.

Provincial leaders with many officials and people attended the 70th anniversary of Giong Dua victory

Before the ceremony, the leadership of the provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and delegations visited and placed the wreath under the Giong Duc victory monument expressed gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence. After the ceremony of setting up a wreath and burning incense, the 70th anniversary of Giong Dua victory  was held under the victory monument.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province, chairman of Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong remarked the 70-year tradition of Giong Duc victory. He emphasized: Inheriting tradition in the stage of national construction and development, Tien Giang province is constantly striving to develop the economy and society of the locality to improve people’s life.

70 years passed, the spirit of Giong Dua victory is always promoted highly by the Party Committee and people of Tien Giang province in healing the wounds of war towards industrialization and modernization for continue to improve people's life.
