Party and State always create favourable conditions for national contributors

The Government official made the affirmation while hosting a reception in Hanoi for a delegation of national contributors from Kon Tum province, who are on their trip to the capital city to pay homage to President Ho Chi Minh.

Talking to the guests, he reviewed the glorious tradition of national construction and defence of Vietnamese people and ethnic groups in Kon Tum province in particular.

He stressed that fruitful achievements in the national development cause have been significantly contributed by the people and soldiers nationwide, particularly more than 8.8 millions of national contributors.

He confirmed the Party and State’s preferential policies targeting the national contributors, regarding social welfares, medical insurance, and livelihood protection.

He expressed hope that the guests would continue promoting as an example for local younger generations to study and follow.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Kon Tum is now home to more than 37,000 national contributors, who have received much attention and care from the local authorities.
