The survey delegation of NA Law Committee works with Tien Giang
On April 19, the survey delegation of National Assembly Law Committee, led by Vice Chairman of the NA Law Committee Pham Tri Thuc, worked with Tien Giang province about organizing the implementing law regulation of the Law on Denunciation.
Deputy Secretary of Tien Giang provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong and many provincial deparment, industries, People’s Committee’s leader of districts, city, towns worked with the delegation.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, from January 2014 to December 2016, the whole province has handled 78 cases under its jurisdiction, resolved 73/78 cases, reached 93.60 %. The rest was transferred to 2017. The main content of denounce concentrated on the land management, compensation, clearance and recovery of land, the financial management work, etc...
In general, applying specific provisions of the Law on Denunciation has brought about practical effects in raising awareness and responsibility of denouncers and denounced settler, not to waste time and effort in verifying in oder to improve the quality of dealing with denounce issues. However, some provisions of the Law on Denunciation still have inadequate points in the implementation process.

At the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong wished the survey delegation of National Assembly’s Law Committee to make suggestions to the National Assembly for amendments and supplements to improve the quality of provincial settlement in the coming time.
Vice Chairman of the NA Law Committee Pham Tri Thuc appreciated the implementation of the Law on Denunciation in the province over time. The delegation acquired and clarified many recommendations of the Provincial People's Committee and related units members. For issues that are not suitable, the delegation will petition the National Assembly to complete the drafted Denunciation Law in the coming time.
