Regarding work in the coming time, the Chairman of the PPC asked departments to maintain production, to promote the field achieved good results including necessary solutions to achieve high efficiency, at the same time to promote industrial development, to implement measures to reduce traffic accidents, to ensure security and order.

Especially, it is necessary to recalculate the meeting, "saving" each meeting to spend more time for the steering and administration. In addition, he directed departments to focus on issues related to each of the fields such as: To prepare reports, resolutions for upcoming sessions of the provincial People's Council;  capital advance issue; to solve noise, sea dyke broke; to continue to consult expanding ideas in choosing Cho Gao district or Go Cong Dong district to build a new rural district; to solve problems related to traffic; to promote the diplomacy of the province; to support My Tho city to build a smart city; to strengthen the promotion of high quality products of the province; to implement solutions to develop tourism, ensure food safety, etc…

As reported by the Department of Planning and Investment, up to April, three targets in 10 socio-economic indicators set by the province, were not achieved the objectives set out including the output of seedlings, budget expenditures, the number of established new enterprises increased but the total capital decreased. The remaining 7 main targets has achieved and exceeded, including the performance indicators increased over the same period as the number of investment projects increased by 33.3%, exports increased by 16.5%, industrial 15% increased by 15%, etc ...
