The Provincial People's Council deputies meet with voters in Cai Be district

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial People's Council reported to the voters the results of the 4th session of the 9th Provincial People's Council. Representatives of Cai Be district Party Committee also reported the results of the 4th session of the 11th District People's Council.

Accordingly, the 4th meeting of the Provincial People's Council reviewed and evaluated the performance of the tasks of the People's Council’s Standing Committee, the committees of the People's Council in the first 6 months and the direction as well as tasks in the last 6 months of the year.

In the first 6 months, the economic growth rate of the province was 9.56%, ranking the second in the 13 provinces of the Mekong Delta. The situation of security and order, national defense and social safety have been maintained steadily, the number of crime cases in social order has decreased by 13.2% over the same period, traffic accidents are reduced in number of case and number of injured, etc…

Voters of the two communes expressed their joy and excitement over the results of the meetings. At the same time, voters expressed their opinions around the issues such as: The price of pork has been continuously decreasing affected farmers; The current use of chemicals in food is still widespread; The allowance regime for cadres, civil servants in communes and hamlets is limited; Drug use among adolescents nowadays has become a major social problem, etc ...
