NA Chairwoman attends the opening ceremony at Le Ngoc Han Secondary School

On the morning of September 5, Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended the opening ceremony at Le Ngoc Han Secondary School at My Tho city.

In the past school year, the school has won the title of Excellent Labor team, being awarded the first Emulation flag by the Tien Giang provincial Emulation Council. The rate of excellent students got 58.25%, the good conduct got 98.05%, 378 students won the best student achievement award, 154 students won provincial level; 17 students won national level.

Thanks to the great interest of Chairwoman of the NA Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan along with the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, People's Committee on mobilizing funds to build a new and spacious modern school, the school has built with the total cost of VND 86 billion including VND 50 billion VND from central support and over VND 30 billion of the provincial budget.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Chairwoman of the NA Ngan warmly praised the achievements that the school achieved in the past school year. At the same time, she also asked the school pedagogic staff to constantly renovate and improve teaching methods, to focus on experiential activities, life skills education for students.

On this occasion, she presented 20 scholarships to disadvantaged studious students and inaugurated teaching and learning equipment room.
