Solemnly organize the 50th anniversary of Ba Rai victory

On the morning of September 15, the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee solemnly organized the anniversary 50th of Ba Rai victory (September 15, 1967 – September 15, 2017).

At the meeting, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong delivered a speech to review the traditional of 50th  of Ba Rai victory. Ba Rai victory is eternally pride of Tien Giang Party Committee, military and people in general and Cai Lay district as well as Cam Son commune in particular.

He emphasized: With the Ba Rai victory, My Tho troops and people - Tien Giang has made a worthy contribution to the South liberation and nation unification. Over the past 50 years, the value of Ba Rai victory remains unchanged, especially practical significance in the new phase of construction and national defense to develop the beautiful and wealthy country.

The Party, Government, People's Council and people in the province united to strive for getting many worthly proud of labour achievement. Economic growth has been remained rather highly in comparison with the Mekong Delta region, the economic structure shifted positively; the system of socio-economic infrastructure has been continued to be invested; the material and spiritual life of the people has been markedly improved, etc…

Chairman of the Cam Son commune People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut said that: Promoting the heroic values of the Ba Rai victory, Cam Son authorities and people nowaday have joined hands to overcom the consequences of the war. The structure of converted plants and animals has  brought high economic efficiency; the socioeconomic has been stable and developed. In particular, the Party, government and people of Cam Son commune is trying to build a new ruaral with 15/19 criteria to be completed until now and recognized as a new rural commune in 2017, etc…

At the meeting, the leaders, delegates and people, laid a wreath, offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs in the enrolling martyr headstone of Cam Son commune.

On this occasion, the Organization Board presented flowers and gifts to 36 veterans, relatives of martyrs who directly participated in the battle of Ba Rai.
