On September 28, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Congress of Tien Giang province solemnly held the 10th Congress, 2017-2022 tenure with the participation of leaders of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Provincial Council and Provincial People’s Committee, 296 delegates representing 300 thousands youth union members.

Attending the meeting were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Danh; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Cai Lay town Chau Thi My Phuong; Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung; Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang People’s Committee Le Van Nghia; Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc; former provincial leaders and leaders of departments, sectors.

On two working days of the Congress, 296 official delegates focused on evaluating the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 9th Congress of Tien Giang province, term 2012 - 2017, discussing and commenting on the political draft documents of the 11th National Union Congress, the regulations modified and supplemented, goals as mission of the Union and the provincial youth for the 2017-2022 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung highly appreciated the achievements of the Union and the provincial movement youth movement of the province. During this term, there have been many changes with many advanced and hard-working youths. He stressed that the delegates needed to promote their intellectual and democratic roles in the election work at the Congress to select the Executive Board, the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation to attend the coming National Union Congress.
