The National Assembly deputies of Tien Giang province meets voters

On October 4-5, the National Assembly deputies of Tien Giang province, including Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, Nguyen Minh Son, Nguyen Kim Tuyen, Ta Minh Tam, Le Quang Tri have just contacted with voters in Go Cong town, Cho Gao district, Chau Thanh district and Cai Lay district.

* On October 4, the National Assembly (NA) deputies of Tien Giang province, including deputy Ta Minh Tam, Vice chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association and deputy Le Quang Tri, vice principal of Tien Giang University have just contacted with nearly 400 voters in Go Cong town and Cho Gao district.

At the meetings, the NA deputies informed the content of the program of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly expected to take place from October 23 to November 22. Accordingly, at this session, 6 draft laws will be considered; commenting on 9 draft laws; to consider the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in 2017 and sepervise other important issues.

At Go Cong town, eight opinions, proposals of voters concentrated on the policy issues for people with merit, issues of land dispute, inheritance issues, etc... In particular, voters recommend that Vietnam Social Insurance should consider and adjust the retirement policy for female workers to ensure the rights of women workers.

In Cho Gao district, there were three opinions of the voters in Binh Phuc Nhut commune and Binh Phan commune focused on the slow implementation of the second phase of the project to upgrade the Cho Gao canal so it seriously affected the life and economic production of the people. Up to now, there have been 3 deaths and dozens of people have been injured due to the landslide of traffic roads along the Cho Gao canal.

* On the morning of October 5, the NA deputies of Tien Giang province, including Vo Van Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Minh Son, Deputy Chairman of Economic Committee of the NA, Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, member of the NA's Committee for Finance and Budget, met voters in My Long commune, Chau Thanh district and My Phuoc Tay district, Cai Lay district.

Voters of My Phuoc Tay commune stated such issues as: To propose Ministry of Education and Training to revise the Circular on grading of elementary school students, the policy for beneficial families, the problems corruption, the social network management. Besides, the voters also commented to the NA deputies about pollution in current water plants, the inadequate loan level for students, etc…

With the opinions and recommendations of the voters in localities, representatives of the local leaders have explained the questions of voters according to their competence. Particularly for the proposals of voters under their superior authority, the NA's deputies noted and summed up the reports to the NA in the next session.
