With the orientation of Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, the delegates actively discussed the results of implementation of the Resolution 10 of the Provincial Party Committee on urban economic development in three regions; the Resolution 11 of the Provincial Party Committee on tourism development; The advantages and disadvantages in the implementation of the project restructuring agricultural sector; Forecasting the situation and solution, the plan to prevent salinity in 2018; leadership, direction and results of building new rural areas; the situation of calling, attracting investment; the implementation of basic construction works; anti-smuggling and trade frauds; reorganization of weak cooperatives, stopping operations; the results of performing tasks in the field of education and healthcare of the people; the implementation of social security policies; criminal offense results, etc…

The meeting unanimously approved the Resolution of the 10th term Provincial Party Committee in the implementation of political tasks in 2018, in which to adopt the main targets in 2018. Specifically: the economic growth rate increases from 9-9.5%; the per capita income reachs VND48-48.2 million; the total export turnover reachs USD2.65 billion USD; the total state budget revenue reachs VND7,980 billion; creating jobs for 20,000 laborers; the poverty rate drops to 3.69%; to launch 12-15 new rural communes; 81.3% of the population participates in health insurance; the reduction of under-five year olds malnourished children to 12.74%; 98.6% of rural households uses hygienic water, etc ...

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh stressed some key tasks of the Provincial Party Committee should focus on leading and directing in 2018.
He noted: It is necessary to learn from experience and overcome the limitations of 2017. The committees at all levels should be highly determined in directing, leading and executing the targets of the Resolution in 2018; To intensify the inspection and supervision of the implementation of capital construction projects, especially Tien Giang general hospital, My Tho trade center, Dong Thap Muoi ecological preservation zone;
