In her opening address, the top legislator stated that during the one-and-a-half-day session, the NASC would discuss a number of issues of different opinions concerning the Law on National Defence, Law on Cyber Security and Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units.
The committee will also give opinions on the NASC’s draft resolution detailing a number of articles of the 2015 Law on State Audit.
Discussions will also cover the adjustment of the use of Government bond capital managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development during the 2017-2020 period for the Ta Pao irrigation system project in Binh Thuan province and the upper Krong Pak reservoir project in Dak Lak province.
The NASC heard the report on preparations for the 26th annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26).
Following the opening speech by NA Chairwoman Ngan, the lawmakers embarked on commenting on the draft resolution detailing a number of articles of the 2015 Law on State Audit.
They disapproved of the issuance of the document because it contains several contents not falling within the competence of the NASC.
Regarding adjustments to the use of Government bond capital for the Ta Pao irrigation system and upper Krong Pak reservoir projects, the NA leader asked the Government to report the total investment capital to the committee at the next session.
